Up to a million Americans a year are surviving cancer. With long-term survival comes an urgent new challenge: how to keep cancer survivors healthy after the treatment ends. This program encourages healthcare providers and policy makers to see cancer as a chronic, manageable condition requiring long term monitoring and care.
